How Allotex corrects your reading vision

A disc of processed corneal collagen thinner than a hair is placed under a thin flap in your non-dominant eye. It gives the centre of the cornea a little extra curve. That eye reads, the other keeps its distance, and your brain blends the two.

Nothing is removed from your cornea and your own lens stays put. If you ever want it out, the flap is lifted and the inlay rinsed away.

Will I still need reading glasses?
For most of the day, no. Very small print in dim light may still be easier with a pair.
